For powerful, take-it-anywhere labeling, the PT-H300LI Handheld Labeler offers intuitive one-touch keys to quickly create large, long-lasting, laminated labels indoors or outdoors. Preview your work on the large, Brother Vivid Bright graphical display that allows labeling in almost any environment. Large, keyboard-style layout enables easy and accurate typing while the convenient, one-touch keys permit quick and easy label formatting and editing when on-the-go or standing. Print multiple lines of text and graphics fast with your choice of a variety of fonts, symbols or frames to create custom, personalized labels and bar codes. You can print labels up to 18mm wide with large crisp text up to 42 point. PT-H300LI is compatible with durable, TZe series tapes - great for indoor applications or harsher environments such as outdoors. Handheld labeler includes the rechargeable Li-ion battery necessary for operation, AC adapter, starter tape and wrist strap.

While with time I will, more than likely, become more satisfied with my PT H-300 mostly by trial and error. The users manual could have been better organized. It also needs a much more detailed index for fast look ups. Due to this trial and error method of learning the label maker IT SHOULD come with more than one label tape cartridge. I have already used up the one that came with the machine....short tape length???

Batteries inserted properly; tape fee looks OK; Power button does nothing (neither on or off); display not lit up. Am very discouraged! What should I do?

I use the desktop model at work and decide to try this one for home and its great. I can print labels with all of the options. Labeling my tool cabinet so anyone can get the right tool fast and easy. Also my personnel items that I take to work, you can get the clear and almost hide you ID on a similar color.
